Working with Signal Enterprises
Yes. Recurring contracts are the core of what we do, and visits can run nightly, several times a week, weekly, or monthly. Each account gets a written scope and a crew assigned to that building. Our recurring janitorial program is built around that routine.
Offices, medical and dental practices, retail stores, auto dealerships, industrial facilities, restaurants, schools and daycares, churches, fitness facilities, and professional buildings. We work on commercial properties only and do not take residential house cleaning, which keeps our crews and equipment matched to business buildings.
Yes. Most recurring accounts are serviced in the evening once staff have left, and others are handled early before opening. Buildings that run around the clock can be covered during a shift-change window. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, but cleaning visits follow your building.
Yes. Every scope starts with a walkthrough where we count restrooms, measure traffic patterns, and note the areas that matter most to you. Tasks are then split into nightly, weekly, and monthly frequencies and written down before pricing is final. Frequencies can be adjusted later as the building changes.
Yes. Signal Enterprises carries $2 Million General Liability Insurance and a $50,000 Janitorial Bond. A Certificate of Insurance is available upon request and goes out with any written proposal.
Yes. Commercial floor care covers VCT strip and wax, burnishing, tile and grout scrubbing, carpet extraction, and polished concrete upkeep. It can run as a standalone project or as scheduled restorative work inside a recurring contract.
Yes. Commercial pressure washing covers storefronts, sidewalks, parking lots, dumpster pads, and drive-thrus. Painted block, stucco, and awnings are soft washed at low pressure so the finish is not stripped. Washing is scheduled at dawn or on a closed day.
Yes. A day porter works on site while your doors are open, handling restroom checks, lobby upkeep, trash pulls, spills, and supply restocking. Shifts run from a few midday hours to full open-to-close coverage, and porter service pairs with an evening janitorial program or stands alone.
Yes. Medical and dental office cleaning covers exam rooms, operatories, waiting areas, and restrooms. Crews follow an infection-control order of work, use EPA-registered disinfectants with the proper dwell time, and keep clinical and public areas on separate color-coded microfiber.
Send the commercial cleaning quote form with your facility type, square footage, and the services you need, or call (504) 669-6356. We follow up to confirm details and schedule a walkthrough when appropriate. You receive a written scope with line-item tasks before anything is signed. There is no obligation.
Offices and multi-tenant buildings, medical and dental practices, retail stores, car dealerships, warehouses, and light manufacturing plants. We also take on other commercial properties like hotels, schools, and churches when the scope fits our services.
We do not offer residential cleaning. Every crew is trained on commercial surfaces, after-hours access, and the checklists that property managers expect.
Both. Our crews are based in Kenner and cover Jefferson and Orleans parishes on regular routes, with the Westbank reached across the Crescent City Connection.
We also run recurring accounts for commercial cleaning clients in Baton Rouge, about an hour and a quarter up I-10. Baton Rouge visits are grouped by day so travel never affects your schedule.
Call (504) 669-6356 or send your square footage, restroom count, and preferred schedule through the quote form. Larger buildings get an in-person walkthrough before we write the proposal.
Smaller offices and storefronts are often quoted from a phone conversation and a few photos. Our commercial cleaning blog also covers what to expect from a first walkthrough and how to read a cleaning scope.
Call (504) 669-6356 Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM. Outside those hours, send the form above or email us and we will reply the next business day.
Yes. We are based in Kenner and meet clients at their own facilities, since that is where the work happens. The first step is a walkthrough of your property, which we schedule after you request a free commercial cleaning quote.
Our crews cover commercial cleaning in New Orleans, Metairie, Kenner, the Westbank, Slidell, and Baton Rouge. If your facility is nearby but not listed, ask and we will check the route.
Anything on our commercial cleaning services list, from recurring janitorial work to floor care, pressure washing, and day porter coverage. Most buildings end up with a recurring program plus a few scheduled projects through the year.
By Service
Questions About Each Service
Scope, scheduling and what is included, service by service.
Janitorial Services
Read about janitorial servicesYes. A day porter stays on site while your business is open and keeps lobbies, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas clean throughout the day, including restocking supplies and handling spills as they happen. Day porter service can be scheduled on its own or combined with our nightly janitorial program, and it is available for any facility type we serve.
Yes. High-touch disinfection can be added to any janitorial scope for a season or year-round. Door handles, elevator buttons, light switches, and shared kitchen surfaces get wiped with an EPA-registered disinfectant and left wet for the proper dwell time.
Our disinfecting services can also be scheduled as a one-time response after an outbreak in the building.
Office Cleaning
Read about office cleaningSend us the square footage, the number of workstations, restroom count, and how many visits per week you want. That is enough for a preliminary scope.
You can reach Signal Enterprises by phone or email, or fill out the online quote form. We usually follow up with a walkthrough before finalizing anything.
Medical & Dental Cleaning
Read about medical & dental cleaningYes. Billing offices, staff lounges, and physician offices are cleaned on the same visit using our standard office cleaning routine, with clinical zones handled separately.
Many practices in New Orleans lease suites in multi-tenant medical buildings, and we coordinate with the landlord on common-area boundaries.
Retail Store Cleaning
Read about retail store cleaningGrit tracked in from parking lots acts like sandpaper on floor finish. Daily dust mopping slows the damage, but scheduled scrubbing and recoating is what restores the shine.
Humidity makes it worse, as we explain in our look at humidity damage to commercial floors. We build floor maintenance into every retail scope.
Dealership Cleaning
Read about dealership cleaningWeekly burnishing is typical for a busy showroom, with scrubbing and recoat on a quarterly or semi-annual cycle depending on traffic. Tire marks and grit determine the pace.
Gulf humidity shortens the life of floor finish, which we cover in our article on Louisiana humidity and commercial floors. We set the schedule during the walkthrough.
Industrial Cleaning
Read about industrial cleaningYes. Facilities along Airline Highway, Scenic Highway, and the river between New Orleans and Baton Rouge are on our routes. We follow each site's gate, badge, and contractor check-in procedures.
Our facility cleaning articles cover floor care in humidity, pressure washing schedules, and how often different buildings should be cleaned.
Restroom Sanitation
Read about restroom sanitationEither way works. Many clients have us supply and restock paper, soap, and liners as part of the service so they never run out. Others prefer to buy in bulk and have us restock from their storage closet. We track usage either way and flag dispensers that jam or leak.
Tell us your preference when you contact Signal Enterprises and we will build it into the plan.
Yes. Medical and dental restrooms get disinfectant dwell times matched to the rest of the clinic, with separate color-coded cloths so nothing from the restroom touches an exam room. We work around patient hours. Daytime restroom service is available when a clinic stays busy.
Our background as a Kenner-based commercial cleaner is covered in the about Signal Enterprises overview.
Floor Care
Read about floor careYes. Polished concrete needs dust mopping, auto-scrubbing with a neutral cleaner, and periodic re-densifying to hold its sheen. Harsh or acidic cleaners will etch it, so product choice matters.
We maintain polished and sealed concrete as part of our industrial facility cleaning work in warehouses, and in dealership showrooms that use it for a modern look.
Yes. Floor care crews cover Kenner, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and the Westbank in addition to Metairie. Travel does not change the service.
The full list of communities is on our commercial cleaning service areas overview. Give us the address and we will verify it is inside our routes.
Disinfecting
Read about disinfectingYes. Checkout counters, fitting room doors, card readers, and showroom door handles get heavy public contact and need the same attention as an office.
Disinfection is built into our retail store cleaning program and can be added to dealership, industrial, and property management accounts as well.
Yes. We run crews in both markets, so a company with a Baton Rouge headquarters and a New Orleans branch can keep one vendor and one standard.
Every community we cover is listed under our service areas for commercial cleaning, and multi-site scheduling is coordinated through a single point of contact.
Detailed Cleaning
Read about detailed cleaningYes. Move-out cleans are one of our most common one-time jobs. We clean the suite top to bottom so the landlord can show it or the next tenant can move in without a second cleaning.
Where the space is a warehouse or shop rather than an office, our industrial facility cleaning crew handles the heavier surfaces.
Yes. The same crews cover Metairie, the Westbank, New Orleans, and Baton Rouge on identical rotation schedules.
Every parish and community we work in appears on our list of commercial cleaning areas we serve. Send the property address by phone or email and we will check it against our routes.
Pressure Washing
Read about pressure washingYes, with planning. Lower floors are cleaned from the ground with extension equipment. Taller facades require lift access, which we coordinate with you in advance. Fixtures, seals, and windows are checked and protected first.
Interior glass, lobbies, and entry hardware can be scheduled with our detailed cleaning service the same week so the whole entrance is done at once.
All of the Westbank, including Marrero, Terrytown, Westwego, and Algiers, plus Kenner, Metairie, New Orleans, and Baton Rouge.
The complete coverage map is under our commercial cleaning coverage areas, and we can confirm a specific property address when you request a quote.
Day Porter Services
Read about day porter servicesYes. Porter coverage is designed to sit on top of whatever evening program you already run, including one handled by another vendor.
Many clients eventually move both under one contract, and our commercial cleaning services across the metro cover the daytime and after-hours scope together.
Yes. One porter learns your building, your supply closets, your event calendar, and your tenants, and that familiarity is most of the value. A trained backup covers vacation days and sick days using the same task list.
To contact Signal Enterprises about day porter coverage, call or email during business hours.

General Commercial Cleaning Questions
Pulled from the articles we have written for facility managers.
Why Professional Commercial Cleaning Is Essential for Your Business
Read the full articleThe ideal frequency depends on the facility's size, foot traffic, activities, and cleaning priorities. Some businesses benefit from daily janitorial service, while others may need service several times a week or on a customized schedule.
Offices, medical and dental practices, dealerships, retail stores, and many other commercial facilities can benefit from a planned cleaning program.
Yes. Contact Signal Enterprises to discuss your facility, requested services, and preferred schedule. A walkthrough can help clarify the scope of work and support a tailored proposal.
We focus on New Orleans, Metairie, Kenner, and surrounding areas within our service coverage. Contact us to confirm availability for your location.
How Often Should a Medical Office Be Cleaned?
Read the full articleYes, but that is a clinical staff task, not a janitorial one. Your medical assistants wipe the table, chair arms, and counters between patients using the practice's approved disinfectant. The overnight cleaning crew then does a complete floor-to-counter disinfection of every exam room so the next morning starts fresh. The two layers together are what keep infection risk low.
Your licensed medical waste hauler, and only them. Regulated medical waste, sharps, and pharmaceutical waste are handled under separate rules with their own chain of custody. Our crews empty general trash and recycling in clinical rooms, but we never open, move, or replace red bag containers or sharps boxes. Keeping that line clear protects your staff, our crew, and your compliance record.
Long enough to stay visibly wet for the contact time printed on the product label. Most hospital-grade disinfectants need between one and ten minutes depending on the pathogen being targeted. Our crews apply the product to every surface in the room before wiping anything, so each surface hits its full dwell time. Wiping too soon is the most common way a clean-looking surface stays contaminated.
Yes. Most of our medical and dental accounts in Jefferson Parish are cleaned in the evening after the last patient leaves. We coordinate access, alarm codes, and any rooms that need to stay locked before the first shift. Tell us your clinic's hours and we will set a schedule that never overlaps with patient care.
The New Orleans Office Cleaning Checklist
Read the full articleMost offices under a few thousand square feet do well with service three nights a week. Restrooms, trash, and the break room get handled on every visit, and vacuuming and dusting rotate across the week. Offices with heavy foot traffic or a public lobby usually move to five nights. The right number depends on headcount and how many visitors come through the door.
Trash and recycling in every zone, restrooms cleaned and restocked, and break room counters and sink wiped. Then lobby glass and the reception counter cleaned, conference room table and chairs reset, and floors vacuumed or mopped in traffic lanes. Anything beyond that, like dusting, interior glass, or baseboards, belongs on the weekly list rather than the daily one.
Yes. The majority of our office accounts across Greater New Orleans are cleaned after business hours so the crew is not in the way of your staff. We work out access, alarm procedures, and any areas that stay off limits before the first visit. Daytime cleaning is available for buildings that cannot allow evening access. Send us your hours and we will build the schedule around them.
We stay in contact with every client as a storm approaches. If the building closes, the schedule pauses until it reopens, and the first visit back is focused on moisture, debris, and any wet materials. Pre-season, we recommend a deep cleaning visit in late May that clears vents, drains, and dry storage before the first named storm forms.
How Louisiana Humidity Wrecks Commercial Floors
Read the full articleOnce or twice a year for most offices and clinics, and up to three or four times for high-traffic retail. Humidity softens finish and lets grit embed, so floors here wear faster than in a dry climate. Burnishing every two to four weeks between strips is what keeps the finish hard and the floor looking right, and it pushes the full strip out as long as possible.
Mopping pushes dirty water into the grout lines, where it sits below the tile surface and stays damp. Mildew grows in the pores, and once it is in there a mop cannot reach it. The fix is a weekly mechanical scrub with a grout brush or floor machine, a quarterly deep clean with a degreaser, and a sealer applied to a fully dry floor.
Anywhere from six hours to a full day depending on the airflow. We extract with minimal water, run air movers on the traffic lanes, and ask the building to keep the HVAC on overnight. With the air running, most carpet is dry by morning. With the air off in July, it may still be damp at noon, and that is when mildew starts in the backing.
Yes. Polished concrete, sealed concrete, and epoxy floors in warehouses and light industrial buildings are part of our regular work across Jefferson Parish and Baton Rouge. That includes daily sweeping, weekly auto-scrubbing, and periodic re-sealing. Give us the square footage and floor type and we will walk the building with you.
Dealership Showroom Cleaning That Sells Cars
Read the full articleEvery night the store is open, without exception. Showroom floors are high gloss and show every tire mark, heel mark, and dust line from a car being moved. The nightly routine is dust mop, spot treat rubber marks, then scrub or damp mop. Add a weekly burnish or machine scrub and a quarterly deep clean, and the floor stays camera-ready for every customer who walks in.
Most of the work happens after closing so crews are never in the way of a sale. Daytime touch-ups for the restrooms, the customer lounge, and the coffee bar make sense on Saturdays and during tent sales, and we keep those quiet and quick. We build the schedule around the store's hours rather than asking the store to work around ours.
The service write-up lane, advisor desks, kiosks, and customer-facing shop areas are part of the standard scope. We sweep and degrease the write-up lane nightly and pressure wash it monthly. The technician bays are usually handled by the shop itself, but we can include bay floor scrubbing and technician restrooms if the store wants one vendor for the whole building.
Yes. We serve dealerships and other commercial properties across Greater New Orleans, including the Westbank, and the Baton Rouge area. Our home base is Kenner, so the Airline Drive and Veterans Boulevard corridors are close, but distance is not a limiting factor. Send us the store address and we will confirm coverage.
Pressure Washing Baton Rouge Commercial Property
Read the full articleHigh pressure will. Soft washing will not. Stucco, EIFS, painted block, and anything above the first floor get a low-pressure application of cleaning solution that kills the mildew and algae, followed by a gentle rinse. The chemistry does the work instead of the water. Any vendor who wants to run a high-pressure wand across your stucco should not be allowed near the building.
Entries and drive-thrus monthly, sidewalks and dumpster pads quarterly, parking lots twice a year, and a soft wash of the building exterior once a year. Shaded north-facing walls and anything under a live oak may need the exterior wash twice. Those numbers hold for most properties along Siegen, Bluebonnet, and Florida Boulevard, and we adjust after the first cycle based on how fast growth returns.
We prefer not to. Exterior work gets scheduled before opening, after closing, or on the slowest weekday, so no customer has to step over a hose or walk across a wet sidewalk. For restaurants, drive-thru washing happens between the last car of the night and the breakfast crew. The schedule always includes drying time so the entry is clear when the doors open.
Yes. Degreaser and wash water from dumpster pads and oil-stained parking areas are directed toward the appropriate drain rather than the nearest storm inlet. We plan the wash so runoff heads toward the sanitary drain where one is available. If your property has specific drainage requirements, let us know and we will plan the wash around them.
